Chocolate Bark
Chocolate bark is a great gift or last-minute plate to take to a gathering. Take it as part of a platter with fresh strawberries - yum!
Preparation time
30 minutes
What you need
250g block dark chocolate
Toppings e.g. chilli and salt flakes OR orange zest and finely chopped walnuts OR finely chopped apricots and toasted shredded coconut
Method
Line a baking tray with tin foil and put in the fridge to cool.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave.
Pour chocolate onto the chilled baking tray, spreading wth a spatula.
Sprinkle the chocolate with toppings of your choice.
Set in the freezer for at least 20 minutes and snap into pieces.
If you would like more uniform pieces, cut the chocolate bark before it’s completely set.
