Easy Stewed Prunes
Delicious on top of your breakfast cereal or as a dessert with yoghurt or custard.
Preparation time
5 minutes
What you need
Dried prunes (find them in the dried fruit/baking section at your supermarket)
Boiling water
Method
Place prunes in a jar or plastic container that has a lid.
Cover with boiling water, seal container, then leave to cool a little before storing in fridge.
The liquid thickens up nicely after a few hours.
Tips
For extra zing, add some lemon juice and zest
