Easy Stewed Prunes

Delicious on top of your breakfast cereal or as a dessert with yoghurt or custard.

 

Preparation time

5 minutes

 


What you need

  • Dried prunes (find them in the dried fruit/baking section at your supermarket)

  • Boiling water


Method

  • Place prunes in a jar or plastic container that has a lid.

  • Cover with boiling water, seal container, then leave to cool a little before storing in fridge.

  • The liquid thickens up nicely after a few hours.


Tips

  • For extra zing, add some lemon juice and zest
